We Went to Joshua Tree!

In our continued practice of rest and renewal, the 2024 AWC Fellows & VC Staff took a trip to Joshua Tree – where we were able to connect, hike, bonfire, and eat good food!

Our favorite moments included: eating s’mores around the bonfire (#campingvibes), sharing mixtapes and nostalgic songs (Avril Lavigne?!), hiking at Joshua Tree National Park (yay rocks), trying to stay warm at Pappy + Harriets (we are not built for 40 degree weather), and having home-cooked meals together (yum! thanks Kirby and Alf).

This retreat provided us with an opportunity to recharge and foster deeper bonds within our fellows, before the World Premieres of their projects at the 2024 VC Film Fest! Look forward to the festival program launch in April. Until then, explore the moments captured at Joshua Tree.
