Join us for a virtual VC Archives "Tagging Party"!

Here at Visual Communications, we have been hard at work digitizing large components of images in the VC Archives, but we are missing a lot of historical information about these images. The inability to properly spotlight this important collection inhibits us from fully contextualizing the history and enduring impact of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

That's where YOU come in! Are you a past Visual Communications staffer? A past or current supporter and community member? Do you have knowledge of some (or even many) of the people, places, and/or events that took place over VC's nearly 50-year history?

Help us reclaim our institutional memory by signing up for one or more of the following virtual "tagging parties!” Your knowledge will help us embed these photos with library-quality information (“metadata”) so that we can better organize the social, historical, and cultural context of our collections.

All "tagging parties" will be held online via Zoom. All guests are welcome, even if you’re not located in Los Angeles.
