Welcome to the 2017 LA Asian Pacific Film Festival!

Welcome to the 33rd Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival! After months of anticipation, we are pleased to bring you another exciting eight days of film and events from April 27th to May 4th, 2017 in hopes to create spaces for connection and add to the dialogues of change. Opening Night is an intro/retrospective look at Justin Lin's BETTER LUCK TOMORROW, a landmark for Asian American cinema in 2002. Closing Night is Kogonada's COLUMBUS, featuring leading man John Cho. Interposed is our Centerpiece film highlight Justin Chon's GOOK, as we commemorate the L.A. Riots on its 25th anniversary. Visit our website for a complete list of our programming and to purchase tickets.

Lastly, join us on Friday, April 7th from 6 to 9pm at the historic Pico House to celebrate with some good food, music, and people as we kick off the Festival. During the event, guests are free to enter the Chinese American Museum to view their newest exhibit "Roots: Asian American Movements in Los Angeles 1968-80s." Get your tickets now!
