Spooktacular Nights with Visual Communications at Haunted Little Tokyo 2018
/Ghouls, ghosts, and goblins of all ages are invited if they dare to experience Little Tokyo like never before for Haunted Little Tokyo 2018! Halloween festivities will be celebrated throughout the whole month of October with pumpkin patches, trick-or-treating, spooky sounds, ghostly games, free Halloween movie screenings, ‘haunted’ walking tours, themed drink specials, and more, ending with a frightfully-fun block party and costume contest on Saturday, October 27th. All events are free to attend, but donations to support the Little Tokyo Community Council are welcomed.
As part of the Little Tokyo Community Council, Visual Communications is partnering to produce the Haunted Little Tokyo Film Festival!
The Haunted Little Tokyo horror film series kicks off on Friday, October 5th with a screening of PRINCE OF DARKNESS by John Carpenter. Some of the scenes in this film were filmed in the office of Visual Communications; see if you recognize our space! Click here to RSVP.
The film series continues on October 12th with a screening of JINRO GAME at the Union Center for the Arts in the Aratani Courtyard. On the 19th, the series will move to the Japanese Village Plaza for a family screening of MARY AND THE WITCH’S FLOWER. The series concludes on October 25th at the Japanese American National Museum with the original 1954 GODZILLA. Little Tokyo will be closing down 2nd Street on October 27th for a Halloween block-party from 5pm to 2am. Visit www.hauntedlittletokyo.com to learn more about the rest of the events.
