Archives Preservation Intern
The Getty Marrow Archives Preservation Intern will work on the digitization and cataloging of archival materials from the VC Archives, which include over 1,000,000 photographic images, 1,000 hours of oral histories, and more than 3,000 moving image titles that reflect Asian Pacific histories, movements, and experiences. Under the supervision of the Archives Operations Manager, the Intern would support physical collections care (digitizing, re-housing, and labeling of archival materials) and help update digitization and cataloging workflows to ensure long-term preservation and access. The Intern will also support ongoing archival preservation projects, including the Little Tokyo Collection, grant proposals, and archives-based exhibitions. They would also assist with conditions assessment and emergency preparedness planning for at-risk materials. The position will be 40 hours per week for the duration of ten (10) consecutive weeks.

Archives Exhibition Intern
The Getty Marrow Archives Exhibition Intern will work on the public presentation and community activation from the VC Archives of over 1,000,000 photographic images, 1,000 hours of oral histories, and more than 3,000 moving image titles that reflect Asian Pacific histories, movements, and experiences. Under the supervision of the Archives Operations Manager and Executive Director, the Intern will assist in research, curation, and caption writing for archives-driven public programs and exhibitions, VC Archives online platforms, and screening/discussion programs that engage intergenerational audiences. The Intern will work on the exhibition of specific VC Archival materials and projects, such as FIRST STREET NORTH Open, VC Archives Website, Eddie Oshiro Collection, and other VC Archives-related materials in our continued effort to engage and educate our communities. The position will be 40 hours per week for the duration of ten (10) consecutive weeks.
