ABOUT COME DRINK WITH ME
"Come Drink with Me" is an influential martial-arts saga from 1966 that showcases the talents of pioneering director King Hu. This film was one of the first to feature a woman fighter, played by Cheng Pei-Pei, in the lead role, marking a significant milestone in Hong Kong cinema. Set in 19th-century China, the story follows Golden Swallow (played by Cheng Pei-Pei) as she battles to rescue her brother from a band of kidnappers. The film's action-packed sequences and compelling storytelling keep audiences captivated throughout.
